I'm on vacation in France. I have a Verizon LG VX6100. I didn't
expect it to work here, but I brought it with me mainly so that I could
use the phone calender, and also for the contacts, international clock,
calculator, etc. But when I turned the phone off and on again, it
didn't know the time anymore, since there is no service here (it sets
the time from the network so that it is still right when you change
time zones). Now it wont let me access the phone calender at all; it
just says "service not available". I can't see why it doesnt just let
me set the time manually, or use the calender without it knowing the
time. I'm having the same problem with the international clock. When
I was in New Zealand last year with an LG VX4400 (I think thats what it
was) I didnt have this problem, because the phone still had service, it
just wouldnt let me call anyone. Does anyone know how I can get it to
let me use the phone calender?
