Voltages and OC

could someone give me a run down on Voltage and OC. I always see uping the voltage on the cpu etc. I am very new to all this and looking through the threads to see what I can find! Any info would be great! my sys is

P4 2.4c
Asus P4P800
MSI R9800 Pro 128 (default settings)
1 GIG DDR 2700 (unsure manufact)
80 gig WD

Keep all voltages default, Dram frequency 266, FSB 250, and you're done. That'll get you a 3.0Ghz however your ram will still be just running at its stock speeds, so it'll be fine.

OK settings changed!
its at 3.0 gig now!
Anyone have any good monitoring tools etc I could use in windows

Also in my bios i changed the CPU freq to 250.. thats the FSB corrrect?

yes cpu freq's fsb, use mbm5 to monitor temps, just do google for mbm5.

I told him to use 3:2 at 250FSB.
