i'm thinkin of buying a xp 2500+. i heard that the barton cores are all factory locked. So all the tricks on the web ( pencil, conductive grease etc ) do any of them work if the cpu is locked???

i currently have a 1900+, how well do they overclock???

thanks

Buy a Mobile Barton, they are all unlocked and will overclock as much or better than normal Barton. Mobile Barton are the BEST Barton.
