OCZ 3700EB memory - The OCers dream!

Wow! This memory really kick ass. It perform well with both AMD64 and Intel based system. This will probably become an overclocker's best choice.

This article is very interesting because they tested with an nForce3 250 (Socket754) motherboard and they achieve very HIGH frequency with the OCZ 3700EB, they reached DDR550. The only thing that is missing in this review is a MAX CPU overclocking speed, but it's an article about memory not CPU overclocking. Maybe AnandTech will soon release an AMD64 overclocking article with this memory in their test bed.

Well, socket754 Athlon64's single channel, so won't run the ram as harsh as Intel i865/i875.

I know this, and they mention it in the article. It's still impressive to see how fast AMD64 memory controller can go and how well this RAM is performing versus PC4000 (DDR500) products.

OCZ 3700EB is not OCZ PC3700 Gold. Have you read the AnandTech article? In the comparison charts, there is a lot of OCZ "variation" to compare their respective performance.
