Hello, I was thinking of returning my pair of Logitech g330's for a pair of turtle beach x12's but my only concern is if my computer fan will be picked up on the microphone. Now I should tell you I have a very loud fan and that's y I loved that the Logitech g330's didn't pick it up so for my situation do you think I should just keep the Logitech g330's? Or get the turtle beaches.

Why are you interesting in changing your headset? If the logitech is working for you and don't have any problems with it, I would just keep it. If you just want to something new than the x12 isn't a bad choice. It has tons of good reviews. I have an x10 and its a quality headset.

x12 is a good headset, been using it for a while and not had any issues with it picking up fan noise and the quality is really good for a relatively cheap set. However I don't know how loud your fan is

I understand you dont know how loud my fan is but have you tested it while using a computer with a relatively loud fan?

I have had mine since the day before they came out and never picked up a fan. I have 2 120 mm fans and 8 40 mm fans plus a 240mm on my cooling tower. They rule! Just do some cable management and learn where your mic should be in front of your face so you don't destroy your friends ears:)

My fans are extremely loud, I have an x12, and the mic doesn't pick them up.
By the way, by loud I mean you can hear them from another room.
The earcups aren't noise-cancelling at all, though, so I can hear them as if I didn't even have them on.
