I have a Barton 2500+ Athlon with an Abit NFS-7 mobo, OCZ 2x256MB PC3200 (400mhz). My CPU won't go past 192x11 (fsb/multiplier) although i've seen others goto 227x13 and other really high speeds. My CPU Voltage is 16.5, but if I try to inrease it to 16.75 the BIOS won't boot.

Any help?

Wow those are some high voltages...

no you mean 1.65 and 1.675, the new barton 2500+ really sucks, you'll need about 1.75-1.8Vcore to reach the 200FSB. On Abit board, who likes to undervolt 1.85V

It depends with the new stuff. I just did one and got to a 196FSB @ 1.7V. It was kissing 50C so I backed it down to 195FSB. It runs great there on Mushkin Basic Green. Is that Corsair Value you stuck in there?

No I'm using OCZ brand.

It's weird because I cannot get my core above 1.65. If I go above it the system won't POST. But I can run at 193 without problems. If I inrease the multiplier than it freezes in games.

Flash to latest bios, and make sure you turn off all safety protection stuff in bios.

I've had the same problem with the lower grades of OCZ. I could not get their PC3500 Performance past 1.75v or LOCKUP! Switched to Mushkin. Even Basic Green runs fine at 2.8v.

How about try to lower multiplier first, then get to 200fsb with 200x10=2000MHz? it's still faster than ur stock 2500+ if you get it

Try putting your ram into single channel mode. The first revision of that mobo is not using the ultra chipset and does have issues breaking over 193 on the fsb.
