VIA isn't for overclocking, since they don't offer AGP/PCI lock, however the new VIA chipsets are coming out, and they promised AGP/PCI lock, but i haven't seen any yet. Just stick with NForce3 250/GB.

Scott's got right except for the best budget board. That has to be the Chaintech VNF3-250 @ $69.00. The highest clock I've seen on it is 240mhz. :smile:

What about Shuttle? I just bought shuttles AN51R, with hopes of overclocking it. From a few reviews, its overclocks decently. Here is its link...

And here is just one review about it. Its a pretty stable, basic board, but it overclocks decently, as long as you take into account extra cooling.

Hehe, dragging up old post I see! Anandtech did a review a couple weeks ago showing the best A64 overclocking board, I think it was a DFI again.
