I can't remember how to do it, but I figured why not ask all of you brilliant people out there how to mod a fan from using 7V insteas of 12V. Thaks.

I THINK (read this long time ago) instead of taking the yellow and black wires off the molex connector, you take the yellow and red wires and connect then so the 5V (red) is connected the fan's ground. This will either give you 7 volts, short out your PSU, blow it up or start the apocalypse.
