Computer freeze w/ small diagonal squares

While gaming, quite often the computer freezes with what seems to be diagonal flickering squares in a pattern. I assumed overheating was the problem but the temps were fine while the error happened again. I am not overclocking anything at all and the bios is set for defaults right now. It used to happen with every game but now only with Fallout: New Vegas. I have downloaded evga precision to auto set the fans which seemed to help with the other games but the error coninuously happen with fallout.

The last time it happened was when the video card was at 56C. So i really dont think heating is a problem.

playing the games in windowed mode fixes the problem, anyone have any idea why?

Limited RAM memory, memory plugged into wrong slots, limited processor cache memory (single core processor), it's usually limited processor being overloaded. Too many processes running...
