If I buy a windows 7 family upgrade pack would I be able to install it on a computer that has no existing operating system.

Hello sk-jb93,

In order to use the upgrade licenses that come with the Windows 7 Family Pack, you'll need to have Windows XP or Windows Vista installed on each computer before upgrading - http://windowsteamblog.com/windows/b/windowsexperience/...
