hey guys! I have been in the market for building my own budget gaming pc for up to $650. I was wondering what specs i should go for?

i will be playing games like dayZ, bf3, planetside 2, and a bit of minecraft. i hope to run all on high settings :D

if you think one part form one of the set of specs should be used on the other instead of whats on that one just tell me

option one,

Intel Core i3-2130 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor – $127.38

Asus P8B75-V ATX LGA1155 Motherboard - $102.99

Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory- $42.85

Samsung Spinpoint M8 1TB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive - $89.99

Diamond Radeon HD 7770 1GB Video Card - $139.99

Antec Basiq Plus 550W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Psu – $60.95

Antec 300 atx mid tower case - $64.95

Total= $624.10

or option two,

Intel core i3-2130 3.4ghz dual-core cpu $127.98

Gigabyte ga-b75m-d3p micro atx lga1155 motherboard $94.99

Corsair vengeance lp 8gb (2x4gb) ddr3-1866 memory $59.99

Seagate barracuda 500gb 3.5” 7200RPM hard drive $58.98

Diamond Radeon HD 7770 1GB video card $133.99

Antec basiq 350w atx12v PSU $29.98

Antec 300 atx mid tower case $64.95

TOTAL= $535.85

i know option two is much cheaper so if option one is maybe a bit better id rather go with the second

:D  Cheers :D

I kind of did something interesting with that,
Why not go with an i5-2500k, a GA-B75M-D3H (like the OP's 2nd build)
And spend the money gained in a better GPU, a 670 will be attainable within the price, just a suggestion.
