The heat sink is very close to the mobo so all the air goes out towards the case door. I always leave my case open (mod gone wrong), so I get a VGA Silencer effect where the hot air isn't kept inside the case.
The old sink used to give me a 412 MHZ core overclock and I couldn't even touch the sink. Now I get 438.8 MHZ and the base of the sink is only warm. I know this still isn't very high so I was thinking of doing the pencil volt-mod. Who here did it and can give some feedback?
Also, am I stuck with a bad core that I get these low overclocks? I've seen people with the R360 getting 460-470MHZ with stock cooling , what is reasonable for an R350 core?
