1477mhz @ 2400mhz... it does over 2400 up to 2500, but not stable

its a 1700+ on an abit nf7 mobo

if you do it right, it'll feel like the real thing. be open-minded, forget that its filled with air

Pretty nice OC Scamtron... almost 1 GHz.

I got an XP2500+ at 2088Mhz, but I'm planning to take it up to atleast 2.5 GHz (if it can handle that speed).

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM :eek:

I think overclocking is morally reprehensible and should not be done by anybody.

yeah it doing pretty damn good for being air cooled. when i first got it, it wouldn't go over 2300 stable, but after about 2 months of being run-in it finally hit 2400.

you got water cooling right? you should be able to hit 2500. thats the aiuhb core right?

Overclocking is 100% ok, when you can keep the PCI/AGP bus @ 33 MHz, temp ~50C and don't have any stability issue.

Overclocking not only gives extra speed for free, it's also fun to overclock

IMO, a THGC member should not dislike/hate overclocking. You can run your CPU at stock speed, but you should not hate overclocking as a true PC enthusiast
