OK, I have always OCed in the past, but with my main system found that it ran unstable. So I built a test system. I do not care if it blows, and it can be a little unstable.

Here is what I have.
The 4500btu copper radiator with 4 120mm fans mounted. Danger den 12v water pump with rbx 428 water block and matching chipset water block. The quad fan setup is supposed to give me 7400btu control. I have an x800pro that will be here monday. (no water block for it, did not want to blow that :)

The mobo is an Abit max2 v2 with a 2.53 p4. memory is plain jane ddr333 (I need somthing else just don't know what). I want to push till it pops, can anyone help?

Will I need to do the wire trick to run at a lower volt? Last time I did this it seemed that I could push it up about 400mhz then windows would corrupt.

What i want to accomplish is to have a high sysmark, 3dmark, etc...

Getting anywhere, the P4 533 should overclock ok any way, and with the cooling and increase in Vcore, you have a good ways to go....
