hello guys, i am in the market for a gaming pc and i have been looking at some specs for my build.

i will be playing dayz, bf3, planetside2, and minecraft for now.

now my question is what graphics card to get and i have 3 picked out with different prices. i dont want to have to spend more than $200 on the gpu but if its just over (ex. $205, $215) i will be okay with that, so here they are.

1. EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Fermi – $194.06

2. Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 - $109.99

3. HIS iCooler H777F1G2M Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB - $124.99

i want to be able to keep the card for at least a year and a half, and i would like to run the games on high or ultra with at least 30 fps.

also i need a modeler 600w psu so if you have any suggestions for that it must be under $85

:D  thanks!

1 & 2 have almost identical performance despite the price difference 3 is slightly less powerful but uses alot less electricity. All of them will play most games on high some on ultra (@ 1920 x 1080).

GTX 560 is more powerful than HD 6850.

Check this for in game performance
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/539?vs=543

Check 650 Ti, and 560 Ti too. If they fall into your budget.
The cost difference of 560 and 6850 should not be that high. The 560 costs around 30$ less, and the 6850... I do not know how you got such a good bargain.

If I had to chose between the three, I would get the first, and would make sure that my Motherboard was CrossFireX enabled. Or may be the 560 if I could get it cheaper than the price you are listing here.

For the PSU, get Seasonic S12II. It's a 620 W PSU.

Thanks,
Rick

If your budget is as high as $200 I don't know why you are looking at such a wide range of cards, or cards that have been discontinued/superseded.
At $200, you can get hold of a HD7850 or GTX660 depending on your manufacturer preference. Of the two, I'd go for the 660. If you are lucky, you might even find a HD7870 in that kind of price range too. All 3 are better than all of the ones you listed.

As for PSUs, there's a few options. I'd probably suggest the Rosewill CaptoneM 650, there's also the Antec HCG 620M, Seasonic M12II 620 or Corsair CX600M. My personal vote would go with the Rosewill because it is among the cheapest but has 80+ Gold certification which is pretty nice. If you can live without modular cables though, you can save yourself a fair amount of cash here.

Why no AMD card at the same price as the nvidia you listed?

+1 for the 7850 but the 6850 is the best value by far @ <$110 if you want to save some $s.

If you want to save money: HD 6850
If you want performance: HD 7850

As simple as that.
