hi ! i have this game : Joint Strike Fighter by edios - yes i know it's old but its best jet combat sim out there i think

my problem is that when i play it for a couple of min. it crashes to desktop sayin:

and i have it updated to ver 1.12 and in compatibility mode( i tried everything from win 95 to win7) but it still randomly crashes.... can anyone please tel me what is the problem, if it's memory related - how do i fix it!!!
my specs:

windows 7 ultimate
e6600 @ 3.06 Ghz
msi radeon 7770 1gb 5 gddr
4 gb of ram

c0000005 is a memory violation. you could try updating your direct x with the version that came with the game if there was 1. other than that its patches and running as admin. if your still crashing its likely a permanent compatibility issue... some old games just dont run on new o.s's

the last thing you could try is running a virtual machine with windows 97 on it.
