need help choosing memmory for overclocking

hello
i'm upgrading my memmory and i cant make up my mind
need some help
3.2e @ 3.72
should i get Corsair TWINX1024-3700PT and run it at 466mhz (3-4-4-8)
or should i get two chips of CORSAIR TWINX1024-3200XLPRO and run it at 400mhz but its has faster timmings at (2-2-2-5 )
they both cost the same

which set do you think will give me better performance
pc3200 or pc3700

Well, that is PC3700 speed. Any attempt to run the RAM slower than the CPU will sacrifice performance.

I suggest a comprimise! Crucial Ballistix PC4000 runs PC4000 at 2.5-3-3-8, and goes 2-2-2-5 at PC3500 speed. I'm sure if you play with it enough you'll get something in the middle at your in-the-middle speed.

Anandtech also tested Crucial Ballistix PC3200, which is 2-2-2-2-5 at stock speed but overclocks at very good timings. It's probably the same RAM.

Take Crashman's advise. The 3700PT are the worst Corsair sticks you could buy! They can't give them away on E-Bay.
