3 or not to 3, that is the question

Hello all,

I've recently finished my parts list for my new build. This is a dedicated gaming rig.

I simply cannot make up my mind on whether to get 1 bigger monitor, or 3 smaller ones.

I've read a lot of threads for/against. However, how about those who changed, are you happy with the change?

For those who went from 1 to 3, are you happy? How about visa versa?

I use multiple monitors for work. I code on one and watch movies on the other (I work from home) or use email, word, whatever, while Visual Studio is open in the other.

However, like I said, this build is just for gaming.

So what's the vote, 1 bigger monitor (27" at 2560x1440) or 3 22's at 1920x1080?

My build has dual Sapphire Vapor X 7970's 3GB

I'm planning on a single high-res monitor. I can't stand the bezel breakup of the image, I'm very sensitive to anything on the screen like dirt, fingerprints, etc. So a bezel kills me.

i've got 2 24 inch ones, and honestly, it's more than enough. if you're sat close to your screen, a big one (like 32 inch) is just too big, and you'll find you are psychically moving your head to see the whole screen, that is just inconvenient.
3 20 inch or just 2 22 inch would suffice.
