It's been a while since I have seen a bunch of cheap loosers line up outside Best Buy overnight for morning door opener sales.
One thing I have never done or will ever do is wait in line in the dead of night so I can save a few dollars on a discontinued product priced for clearence.
What is exceptionally funny is seeing 300 people line up to buy a $100 colour television when there is a big sign stating each store only has a maximum stock of 75 cheap TV's for sale.
It would be nice to know that there was a sterilization clinic ready to accept the remaining 225 idiots. Sometimes I think stupid people shouldn't be allowed to breed.
In Australia they have the Boxing day sales, people have been trampled opening the doors to let all the punters in, its like thier life will end if they dont get into the store first, they have had to give vouchers to people who were the first to line up
I know a guy that camped out overnight for 2 nights at a Harley plant in order to get one made like he wanted, instead of having to join the waiting list. That's different, though. I mean....that's for a hawg!
A&B Sound in Vancouver (Burnaby) has their Boxing Day Sale every year. They let news crews in for the opening carnage. Many people line up from closing time of the previous day.
People don't realize there are Buyer's clubs you can join that can get you factory prices on most stuff.
ei. I got my king size bed (msrp. C$2499, United Furniture C$1499) for C$967.50
Anyone in the Lower Mainland can PM me if you want to pay factory prices on everything from appliances to furniture to electronics.
The Pen is mightier than the Sword, but the Sword is better if you need back up.

Yeah, Best Buy can be good for buying DVDs on sale and the occasional item, but for the most part should be avoided.
I remember going by there last winter during the day-after Thanksgiving sale. They had one or two cashiers on duty, so about 100 people were waiting in line. Needless to say I didn't buy anything.
