Fudgenuts! The best I can do on ATI tool is 400/350 on this R360 core at 1.55v. Is turning up the volts going to get me there?

You talking about Agp voltage right? It might it might not if u have a voltage meter look and see how much voltage your card is accuatly putting to the core should be about 1.7 (i think) Heres a guide to check it.I havent tested mine yet.I just got a voltage meter from my granpa and i plan to check it out when i get back home.If mine is reading under 1.7 im going to do a pencil volt mod.I believe stock voltage from the 9800 xt is 1.8 i plan to pump mine to 1.9 or 2.0.Burn baby burn!

LOL! I had to back down to 395/350 because of snow in Doom3. [-peep-] it runs good now! Aquamark3 score up to 47K. I think the Zalman 80D is helping a ton. I might just leave it here for now.

Going over 1.9v with aircooling is NOT recommended (unless you like a short lifespan). Stock is 1.77v usually. I tried the pencilmod and got 0 increase in voltage...I'm going to try again when my HP80D comes in. If it still doesn't work I'll just go to RS and get a 10k ohm pot and solder it on (and of course lower the resistance after that). This method is only slightly harder but works a lot better in the long term.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.

Wow thats low OC. Dont believe that Voltmod will help if its stock max is that low.

Got to agree! I think I'm stuck with a dud! I know guys with R350 cores who can clock better than this!

Yeah My 9800pro uses the r350 core and can do about 460 on the core, with the use of water cooling, and can do about 430 with a vga silencer.

I was able to break 500 on the core with a peilter but only had it that high for a couple benches and dropped it back.
