i was wondering if these specs i have decided on will make a good mid-range gaming pc.

i want to run 30 fps or higher on high or ultra settings in, bf3, arma 2(dayZ), planetside 2, and minecraft.
i dont want to have to upgrade in a year so i want about 1.5- 2 years without an upgrade.

Intel core i5-3470 3.2GHz cpu - $199.99
Asus p8b75-v lga motherboard - $99.99
XFX double D FX-787A-CDFC Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GPU - $269.99 ($258.99 with rebate)
CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM - $27.99
Western Digital WD blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM HDD - $69.99
RAINMAX RX-500AF 500 watt SLI Ready CrossfireX Ready PSU - $49.99
NZXT PHANTOM 410 Case - $99.99

SHIPPING - $23.78
TAXES - $96.34

TOTAL - $931.05

(note. 2 games come with the gpu so i will sell them for $145.99, so the total is)

TOTAL - $781.06

so tell me what you think and if you think i can do better for a total of the same cost or less just tell me.

thanks! :D

Looks great apart from few things.

1. Bump the CPU to i5-3570k. It's only marginally more expensive but will last you MUCH longer.
2. Don't skimp on a power supply: get a real unit from Antec/Corsair/Seasonic/XFX. Something like Corsair CX 500 would cost similarly but would have much higher quality.
3. RAM is so cheap nowadays that it is a sin not to get at least 8 GB :).
