Need advice HSF for p4 3.4e stock speeds

I just ordered an OEM 3.4e and I need a heatsink fan, I just want to run stock speeds, so all I want is one that will do the job, not require the motherboard to be removed for installation, is quiet, cheap, and reliable. It seems like almost all thermaltake ones are for AMD though its kind of hard to tell from their website which is really disco with little organization. Any advice?

Actually they have CNPS7000A-ALCU for $36 incl. shipping, which I have actually heard of and though it might not be as fancy and may not cool as well(though I don't know it may cool better)as that foxconn one, at least it's not unknown to my limited knowledge and considered to be of good quality so I can feel more confident that it's not going to fail on me in the future. There was actually one on pricewatch for $31 delivered but that vendor mainpc had 2 negative out of 3 total feedbacks.

Actually I have heard mixed things about the Zalman you are talking about. It seems they are a good heatsink, and it is supposed to be very quiet, however its cooling seems to about the level of the retail heatsinks. Just what I have been reading here on the forum though. I haven't personally tried that one.

I think I would still lean towards the Foxconn, just as it is a heat pipe design. Heatpipes are the way to go today, they just generally cool better. FoxConn isn't a bad name or anything either.

Also $36 dollars seems to be approaching the mark where bargin, and high end heatsinks start? Have you looked at anything else high up, maybe a ThermalTake?
