Sound through my gaming headset xbox 360

If anyone can help, I have linked my 360 to my acer h223hq monitor via hdmi with built in speakers. But my problem is that I want to mute the sound to the headset only but I only have a audio in port is there anything I can do to get it to work ??. Thanks in advance !!

Bump. I have a Tritton Detonator. And sounds plays through both the headset and the tv. I wish to also make only the headset play sound. (HDMI Set up, Headset through composite)
