what have you managed on this board ?
AMI bios 07/29/2003 recognises cpu as an mobile AMD Athlon XP-M 2500+ at 133fsb
6 x 310.9 = 1865 mhz v=1.58

will update when I change bios to latest

can't change anything in bios at moment i think its corrupted (?) results in 3 long beeps if i do :S

any help/hints someone ?

The Mobile Barton Chip? Sounds either the mobo does not like the mobile lines or indeed a foofed-up bios. Tries flashing the CMOS yet?

updated bios to latest version ... same long beeps ... maybe somethings broken :s loose

put pc back together and back in place under desk beeps gone

upped vcore to max in bios and fsb to 166mhz resarts as 2.4ghz cpu

wont boot into windows :s will try to find way of increasing vcore to 1.7-1.75 .. where are all the tech gurus &wise old men/women of forum when help is needed :S

update:

can load winxp @165fsb not 166 with 1.675v in bios (max)not stable with prime95 or 3dmark :S




going to look for a voltage mod with a resistor of 18k or 50k on an ic

or wil socket mod with strands of wire unlock 1.7-18v for cpu ?
