ASUS P4 unlocking

Do you think ASUS could/would make the P4 multiplier unlocking feture available in older socket 478 boards?

As far as I know, the only CPUs' that aren't hardware-locked are Xeons.

They say that new ASUS LGA boards (P5AD2 and P5GD2) can unlock a Prescott CPU multiplier and change it up to 14X.

I always thought of unlocking as being able to adjust the multiplier rather than just choose between stock and 14x...I noticed they were using an ES processor at 15x, something you couldn't do with anything other than a 3.0E right now.

On the asus site i read that P4C800E deluxe will also be able to unlock some but they took it down there are copys of it around .

its supposed to only work with 3.2 and upwards and fmb1.5
It also states that the BIOS revision is upcoming so...
I saw it on the ASUS website again earlier today but I can't find it any more...

Yea its avalible for almost all 478 boards
was able to do 1200 bus!
