Hello video overclocking forum
I am usually on the cpu overclocking forum
But I decided to try something new.
So I want to overclock my aiw9800 pro
I would like to reach xt speeds but thats what I want
I'll use rivatuner and i'll post my results later
So I have two choices for cooling
Either the zalman ZM80D-Hp and their requiered fan
http://www.zalmanusa.com/usa/product/view.asp?idx=138&code=013
Or i can use the Zalman reserator 1 with zalman ZM-GWB1
http://www.zalmanusa.com/usa/product/view.asp?idx=90&code=013
But the problem with the reserator solution is i will also be running my prescott at 4ghz and dont know if i could or should anymore heat.
Thanks everyone

I think many peeps are the Vatec Iceberg VGA cooler. IIRC, it blows the hot air out of the case. Might wanna look into it.

I used the Rade3D Tweak proggie to OC my 9800pro to speeds just past the XT model (415 core/385 mem). I using stock cooling cuz I don't wanna blow my warranty. Seems OK, but I've got a side fan blowing across my vid card, so it doesn't get too hot.

Make sure you aren't trying to do large jumps in speeds. Don't try to go straight to XT speeds, you should slowly work your way up to XT speeds.

Also make sure you do your GPU and RAM seperately. Make a change to one, then test your settings (Benchmarks). If you do them both at the same time, then run into a problem, you won't know which caused the problem. Every card is different, my TI4400's RAM went much farther than the GPU. On my 6800, my GPU goes much farther than the RAM.
