Ive resently had some problems with my new system, wasn't able to get it stable, it turned out that I had to underclock my gfx to make my system stable.

Mb: Asus A8V Deluxe Rev 1.02 (bios 1006)
3D: Aopen Geforce 6800 Ultra (425/1100stock) had to lower it to 399/1100 to get my system stable - whats the cause of this? Bad mobo or bad gfx card?

Nevermind this post, found out that the 2D and 3D speeds have to be the same for the system to be stable, card runs fine at 425-2D / 425-3D :)

Could be a bad mobo by providing non-stable voltages to the card or it can be the card by simply being a duchebag. Try the card out on a different machine.
