I need some headphones so that I don't bother anybody at my new place. What are good headphones for the computer for games, movies, and music? I want them to be comfortable.

Check out the AIWA HP-X223 headphones. For $40 they are comfortable and have decent sound quality. Check out some other ones on that site too - I'm sure others are also good from AIWA.

The most comfortable headphones I've botten are Koss UR-19 from Best Buy for $30, I think it was. They sound great too. I bought some AIWA's as well, but they aren't too comfortable as they grab your head too hard, and my ears get a little sweaty after wearing them for awhile, which is pretty wierd.

I just went to Best Buy and I get the impression that people like wearing dinner plates on their ears.

I'm gonna check out Newegg and their prices.

Sennheiser are awesome. Also, the Grado SR-60 (I think that's the model number) are highly regarded.

You don't like the big ones? I can't stand the little ones, they aren't as crisp and don't block out as much outside noise.

They look terrible despite how good they sound. I laugh everytime I see some guy walking down the street with such a pair jamming, or sometimes someone trying to run with em hahahaha.

He's not looking for anything to wear around... just in his place for movies/music/games on his computer etc.

He'll be alone when he's wearing them so comfort is good and looking like a dork doesn't matter.

Yeah, that is true. Although I did look up those Sennheiser and they seem to be VERY expensive.

When I can get stacks of 100 CDRs for free, and crap like that, they don't seem evil. I don't see these huge lines of people or crazy folks lining up hours before they open for a TV, that everybody's been talking about, either.

Some Sennheisers are extremely expensive yes. You can get electrostatic tube amplified phones that go for $12000 IIRC. But they also have $20 sets, and they go up from there. They are a good choice because of their wide range that you can really get close to exactly how much you want to spend. If you want to spend $50, they have $50 phones, if you want to spend $300, they have $300 phones... :)

I'd like to buy online, but I did browse at Best Buy today. They had pretty much no selection and the help was really bad.
