Drive not detected during reformatting windows 7.

Hello, my computer running normally except that its getting slower or seems my drive 'c' has virus...so for sure i'm reformatting my OS in drive "C",and in the portion where to install it......no drive appeared...or it says, i need device driver to access my hard drive.....please help me! i'm wander why when i'm using my pc, drive works fine. by the way, i'm using windows 7 now but i just want to reformat it...please help me.....bernz

First make sure whether you have a virus or not by running an antivirus program, if you don't have one download one. Free ones are available.

Formatting your drive will erase all data on that drive including the operating system. Do you have a instalation disk to reinstall Windows?
