Can 9800pro 128mb, 128bit be flashed???

Hey guys can you flash the 9800 pro 128mb, 128 bit card to xt? does the flash cost anything? In the long run is it worth it? Will it kill the card eventually?

Your problem will be the XT is 256 bit memory, if your card has the 128-bit memory, you will pretty much be out of luck.

Also keep in mind that with any BIOS flash, there is the risk of ruining your card, and turning it into an exspensive paper weight.

Your best bet, is to just use some software to overclock your card.

Oh, and no the BIOS flash doesn't cost anything, you would just have to find a BIOS from an XT card, which most manufacturers offer right on there websites.

But like I said, I don't think you should jump right into flashing your card.
