I installed the following today.

AMD A64 3500+ 130nm
MSI K8N NEO 2 Platinum V1 Bios 1.30
Corsair Twinx 2x512mb pc 4000
Maxtor SATA HDD 120GB on SATA port 3
Radeon 9800pro
GPU and CPU watercooled

I'm getting an idle CPU temp of about 35-36C, with motherboard monitor. In the bios it says 39C or 36C aswell. But the other 2 sensors read 122C and 127C WHAT IS THIS :-\ MBM says that. MSI corecell says systemtemp is 127C. I ran 3dmark 2001 w/o problem and have overclocked to 10x240 1:1 so far, in PCmark2004 i don't get errors but I'm verry concerned with those temps.

I've got it up to 10x250 now, had to raise vcore 3.3% to do so. It's at 1.520V now and temps under pcmark2004 are 49C. Vcore does eem to be unstable though going between 1.488V and 1.536V

Congratulations there friend, 2.5Ghz is definently a good speed for a newcastle. Ignore those screwy sensors, just disable those if you could. BTW What's your room temperature and how is your watercooling set up? I mean is the radiator inside the case? or outside?

For room temperature I have no idea. I have a sensor from my Xaser II case that is hanging loose insode the closed case and that tells me 25.8C right now, MBM tells me CPU temp is 38C. Under loads I have seen temps as high as 56C but I cant' tell for sure just yet. I can't seem to update my cs source through steam, an hour of that game should let me know what max load temps are. The radiator is inside the case against the HDD rack with two 120mm fans pulling air through. I've got an Innovatek XXL waterblock on the CPU, an Innovatek Graph-o-matic on the videocard a small reservoir a hhydor l30 pump and the radiator is a black ice extreme II. Temps on my PIV 2.4 533fsb where lower with this setup so the AMD does seem to be a little hotter. I've got Vcore at 1.55V in bios but cpuZ tells me it's 1.6v right now. I haven't tried overclocking further but I might today. Ram timings are 3-4-4-10 (these are settinsg corsair recommends to get ddr500 speed) I haven't tried anything else here yet.

Benches at 10*250 cl 3-4-4-10 1:1 gpu @ stock speeds.
