Will 1gb vram be enough for 1080p gaming for the next couple years?

Hey, Mike2012 here. Well, I found an HD 7850 that will probably fit my case, that's like 6 inches. Currently, I have an HD 7750 that's like 8 inches which I had trouble fitting in. However, this HD 7850 that I plan on getting, only has 1gb of ram.

There were other HD 7850's with 2gb, but they wouldn't be able to fit in my case. Atleast without hassle.

So will this setup be enough to last me for the next year or two? I would like to know that. And what I mean by that is, will this setup be able to get 60fps at medium to high settings with aa turned at 1080p, in most titles coming out in the next 2 years?

OS: Windows 7 64bit
RAM: 4gb
GPU: HD 7850 1GB
CPU: Core i3 2120@3.3ghz

It's a subjective matter wether it will "last" or not, because we all got different demands.

A lot of games use MORE than 1 GB of VRAM right now on 1080p. Skyrim, Crysis 3, Metro 2033, Far Cry 3 are just a few examples. It should be possible to get a 2 GB version of the Radeon 7850 which is the same size. You should aim for the extra 1 GB, the price difference is minimal and the performance in games that demands a lot of vram will be huge.
