Swiftech MCX478-V with Vantec Tornado ?

I'm planning to buy a Swiftech MCX478-V (socket 478) heatsink, but haven't decided which fan to use with it yet. The noise is not a problem so i guess the best would be an 80 mm vantec tornado, but i'm not sure if it could be used as a cpu fan. Can anyone help me with that?

a fan is a fan, just get the right size and pick how fast you want and how loud you can tollerate.
