You should see a new Samsung in July using a phone-sized form factor.
The old (2 years + old) Samsung i600 was a good phone without some of
the latest phone features like EVDO and Bluetooth, but can only now be
found on ebay. There is a full-sized Audiovox PocketPC Phone available
now. Check the Verizon web site for more information.

I'd wait until July when the new batch of phones come out. They'll run
Windows Mobile 5 (2005). You could get an older phone and upgrade, but then
you're running a heavier OS on a slower system.

I ditched my Audiovox Thera after two years and went with a regular phone
for now. The battery time on it (and other, current PDA phones) is not that
hot. You'll definately want to check out the talk and standby times on any
PPC you get.

I will have to wait since the price on the i730 is way too high.

perhaps when more vendors release their new PPC the prices will come down. I
just hope it does not take a year or two for that to happen

Now THERE'S what I want. A phone that calls China instead of the Chinese
restaurant, and BSOD's if you say "linux".
