Hello,

I have been looking for the past two weeks for a Full-HD monitor to replace my old CRT TV. I know absolutely nothing about monitors

I will use it entirely and solely for playing the PS3 on

I have been told that ASUS are my #1 destination and, as such, I have found these two monitors from ASUS

http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VG248QE/

and

http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VG23AH/#overview

Are they good to play the PS3 on? Or are there better alternatives (Even if from other brands)?

What I'm looking for is the following:

- 23~34 inch in size
- LED
- Full HD 1920 x 1080
- Can listen to the audio using headphones
- Adjustable (If possible)
- HDMI slot

PS: My budget is a maximum of 300$

My ¢2; Make sure what ever monitor you purchase is EXACTLY 1920 x 1080. As the PS3 does not support 90% of common monitor resolutions. Sure you'll be able to get image on all of them but it will stretch and skew. Also, most if not all PS3 games are only 720p.... but your blurays will look nice :)

Yeah, I already know that most PS3 games are 720p

However, I need someone to help me by addressing the points I listed in the first post
