PSU SMELLS!

I had purchased 6 days ago a Tagan 480 (TG480-u01), howerver I noticed since yesterday there is some strong strange smell comming out the PSU ( like burn plastic or some , but there is no smoke comming out:S. Can anyone explain how come?

I think there are some issues with those power supplies
Remember when tops was doing the AMD or INTEL thing
Their Tagan smelled and then blew out too

Has it been smelling for as long as you've owned it? If so, that's fine, it's just buring off a coating on the internals. If it just started to smell, start filling out the RMA form. No smell --> bad smell is a sign of bad things to come.
