Hi all
What causes Windows not to load when OCing? My 2.6Ghz P4 won't go past 2.8 without Windows crashing! Is it that I'm driving the memory too fast, or maybe the PCI bus? What about locking the PCI bus and using a different ratio for memory speed? Also, what about using slower timings for the RAM, would that allow for more FSB, and if so, would it be faster to use better timings or more FSB?

Guess everybody's Windows installation is working fine!

Maybe if someone has a link to an OC guide I could just read that? Thanks

Could be the PCI bus, could be the memory, could be power

Check the stickey at the top of this section for ocing tips for your CPU.

Definitely lock the PCI bus, maybe up the RAM voltage a tad, loosen the RAM timings and see what happens.
