NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 problems

I think my graphics card may be failing. I turned my computer on this
morning and for some reason, I am only able to view my desktop in 4 bit
color. From SETTINGS in the Display Properties window, I have no other
options under COLOR QUALITY. Just Lowest... 4 bit. =(

I reinstalled the NVIDIA driver and all indications show that the driver is
installed and operating properly. I have Windows XP and Windows Media
Player 9.0 is the newest thing I have installed.

Any ideas?
