Can 8800GT Run CrYsis 3 ????

Can anY one pls help me ?
crysis 3 requirements said it needs a direct x 11 computable card
still i wonder if it will work on 8800GT ???

lowest settings and lowest resolution.....really??

see this on youtube...crysis 3 on hd 5450......

the game is well optimized and if it would have been launched with dx10 support, an 8800 gt could have easily managed medium to high settings on 720p.....i bet......

well.....are there any dx 10 patches coming up??
i heard that it can be a possibility...is it???

you can bet all you want. it wont. because the 8800gt couldnt manage more than medium settings on the original crysis without crumpling. cryengine 3 requires about x4 the power just to run on medium.
my sig system plays crysis maxed and gives 30 fps minimum. where as i would get 3-10 fps on high on my old 88gt.
crysis 2 i can play on high and i mean high not the high settings the menu says... the 88gt will play on lowest settings and give 25-30fps
crysis 3 i can play on medium. the 88gt is incompatible.
or if i wangle a few settings i can have some ultra and some low.

so no mate even if it did work with dx11 it would crumple badly.

and my card is roughly x4 the power of my old 8800gt.
