Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I'm new here :p

Looking for possible areas to upgrade for gaming, fairly new system but still thinking about possible upgrades and costs.

Basic Specs:
CPU:AMD FX 8150 8 core processor
GPU: nVidia GTX 660
RAM: 8GB
Hard Drive: 1TB HDD + 256 GB SSD

Or should I look at new keyboard/mouse? I have basic dell ones at the moment.

Tell me if you need more information.

Thanks

u have everything for present day games... for next gen like WatchDogs... maybe a 7950/660 Ti... but i think even those should be playable with your config (unless your resolution > Full HD...)

better keyboard & mouse? IMO, unnecessary, unless they are downright bad.

the 8150 is utter pants for gaming atm. it will likely remain so till the new consoles arrive and there multi threaded games get ported.
the 8350 is a different beast it will compete pretty well with the ivy bridge in most newer games when its overclocked to 4+ghz. it has much better single threaded performance and over all a better choice than what you currently have.
this is probably the only time i wont say buy a new gfx card because the old fx cpu bottleneck so badly you really need to sort that out first.
