I have a A64 3200 939 winchester, and OCD DDR500, when i set he fsb to 2:1(DDR400) and oc to 250 fsb it gives me blue screen and freezes(mult 9x). But when the mem didvider on auto it must set it to 5:3(DDR333), because CPUZ read 216 mhz, and the system runs stable, i tested it for 9 hours. This does not make any sense, why is setting it at 2:1 yield such poor results yet the CPU runs fine at 2.5 GHz?

Yes it has a working AGP/PCI lock, only revision 2's have it, which is what i have. I think i've figured it out. Its the T1/T2 command, A64's don't oc well on 1:1 when you have 1T and memory modules with chips on both sides of the module, you need single sided modules to oc well with 1T, i found the information on http://www.insanetek.com/index.php?page=overclocka64 , other wise you need to reduce to 2T or use a divider. Problem solved, thanks for responding though.
