Some more newbie questions..

Hey people,
I have some 3D card OC questions. (In my case, a Asus 6800 GT PCIe)
1) How safe is it? Do 3D cards have a temprature gaze?
2) What part of the card is OCed? Memory? GPU? both?
3) How significant a jump can i get with my card?
4) Any annekdotes regarding rigging my card to be a Quadro? (I use 3D studio max, but games too.. how does this move affect these two uses of my card?)

I don't know any 6800ultra's can stay under 70C with stockcooling, 6800GT's underclocked but with crappier heatsink i doubt if it'll stay under 70C. But really it's fine under 90C, and yeah they can take up to 120-140C but that's really bad for the card.

Do a bios flash so you can get higher VGPU therefore higher overclock

that could be the difference between 20FPS (urgh!) and 30FSP (playable)

Or perhaps hundreds of frames difference if you play Doom 1, and Commandn and Conquer.
