Man, I can't even get my s939 3200+ (90nm) to run at 2090 (2000 mhz stock) mhz without running incredibly unstable. I bought the cheaper processor because I planned on OC'ing. Heres what I've tried on my a8n-sli deluxe:

voltage : AUTO
FSB anywhere from 209-230 mhz, all unstable as heck.
MULTIPLYER: AUTO or 10x
that's all I tried to change. I figure I wouldn't have to play with a whole lot of settings, but jeeze. My memory is pc3200, so 200mhz x2 = 400 effective, by increasing the FSB (HT? explain? lol :/) does that try and increase my memory's speed too, aka, thats why it is flaking out? Oh well....if anyone else is experiencing a8n-sli OC'ing problems let me know, or if you see myself doing something wrong. ;). Let me know, thank you.

well increase voltages, all voltages, CPU/MEM/Chip, then go again. The board has no problem OCing, even with the first bios version it has no problem hitting 300. Just turn down the HT multiplier to 4 instead of 5.

stock or equivalent=1.5V
XP120 or equivalent and sh*t watercooling=1.65V
Watercooling using high end waterblocks such as DD RBX and has a 300G/hr pump and has a radiator big enough for 2 120mm fans=1.75V
Sub-zero systems such as Prometeia and Vaporchill=1.9V+

Isn't 1.5v the default anyways? If this the case...I can't really adjust that. Here's a question about the HT. What does changing the HT speed (4x, 5x) actually change? Maybe someone can give me a simple answer, because I know the board doesn't have a FSB, because it has been replaced by the HT, and that the CPU frequ. can be changed without having to deal with the FSB, since it's not there. Why do I need to adjust the HT speed?
