I have tried to reverse but the same thing happens, cant turn computer off. The only way to turn off is to hold down button for 5 seconds. Its my dughters and just trying to fix for her.

That's a feature not a bug. I am not sure what problem you are having?

If you simply can't wait 4 seconds there is always the PSU switch.

Check you BIOS, some have an "instant off" option.

Also once your OS loads it takes over control of the power button. Go into control panel, power options.

PS switches (& the speaker) work fine if you plug them in backwards, its only LEDs that will give you problems.
Edited by Codesmith on 03/14/05 07:58 AM.
