Far cry 3 lag please help

So i bought the game off steam and i think i met the requirements.Opening cinematic is fine then it starts lagging really bad please help it is unplayable .my specs are:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT
System Model: Area-51 m9750

If you need more information say so PLEASE HELP!!!!

I don't think you meet the minimum requirements, it requires at least a 8800 nvidia desktop card : http://ubisoft-en.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17458/~/system-requirements-for-far-cry-3

The 8700m gt is not good for it, it's an old mobile card, it's much slower than a 8800 GT(desktop).
You can try to lower down the settings to the minimum possible and the resolution, but i don't think it will give decent fps.

And try to disable AA if the game has it. (never played though)

I found this mod which like triples ur fps there's a free version and a four dollar version. It works great w/ intel cores
