A 2.4 (er it had something written on the chip that made me think it was a 2.4 anyway) dropped in to my lap, and i thought it was an old p4... I popped it in a soyo board i had sitting around, and it came up as a Mobile p4 2.4... I didn't even bother to load a hd in...i just plugged the board in to the wall and turned it on with a monitor hooked in to an old gpu i had. Worth oc'n? I have some leftover 3200 i could throw at it, but i haven't even done the research yet to find out what bus it runs on or anything. And, i far know less about p4s then i do athlons...

Erm...i know nothing i see nothing...

I'll have to find a heatsink...I won't be buying a new board for this, i'm going to stick with the free* soyo board i got. =/ The heatsink i had on it to boot it up was the xp90...which as you know is now taken up residence in my a8n-sli. =D

*may not actually be free after soyo screws me out of $80 in rebates and the additional cost of shipping; have a nice day; grrrrr <smacks soyo straight to the other>
