i just wanted to squeeze more performance out of a water-based (concept wise) cooling system. i was thinking about TECs but they are too unefficent, plus it takes up a lot of electricity and what not. so i was thinkign about a chilled water setup. i seen stuff on xs about that, but i never really understood how you make a chilled water setup with an air conditioning unit... any suggestions/help?

i kinda did more research and i now understand how the water chiller basically works, but the thing is that, it is a closed loop. i have to find a way for the evap to cool off my water.. any suggestions?

Tell me about what you want the temps to be. There is a way to do this without going to that much trouble.

Ned Flanders said that im a BAD ASS
Intel 550(3.4)@4.2
ASUS P5AD2-E-Prem
Ballistix PC5300@DDR2 780
ATI Radeon X800XL
TT 680W PSU

You'd need to insulate everything, including your tubes, from condensation.

Thats assuming your pump will work at those temps, which it wont, and that your pipes won't crack.

I must have been having an acid flashback "although I dont do acid" when I replied to your question. Most of the time I will have 3 or 4 IE's open when I am in the forum. I must have gotten your question mixed up with someone else.
