The Sygate website says: "Sygate Personal Firewall STD and Pro Version
5.5 build 2577 has been released. This release is to address the
vulnerabilities reported in Sygate Personal Firewall Pro"

In my Sygate Personal Firewall Pro the "Update"/"automatic check for new
versions" has failed to upgrade from 2525 to 2577. "Check now" returns a
message stating that 2525 is the latest.

I conclude that SPFP update is broken and cannot be trusted. Until it is
fixed those wishing to use the latest version should update manually.
