I'm not sure if this is known issue with Skyrim - but my computer shuts down at least 30m-1hr playing this game @ Ultra. (PC specs below)
My PC shuts down entirely, without warning, without a BSOD.

Now, I would suspect my psu, knowing already its a horrible 700w Xion, but testing my other games and applications (Sleeping Dogs, Hitman Ab, Crysis 3, ME3, CS5, Microsoft Visual 2012) there is no random shutdown. I also just cleaned my case a week ago, and core temp and speed fan are showing normal temperatures on idle (16C) and during gaming load (40C and below).
My 8350 stays between a respectable range of 20-35% usage under skyrim load.

So, why just Skyrim?

Yes, there has been several issues with CTDs (I had several myself). If you don't find fixes here try Nexus forums. Anyways, I tried reinstalling and it worked.

I've tried reinstalling and it's always a no-go an hour later into the game, that heart-breaking shutdown.
I wonder if the 13.1 Catalyst update may have anything to do with it.
Will try rolling back after another reinstall.

I'm not sure if I did anything else to fix it. I'm sure someone over nexus adviced me something lol
