I'm looking to get as much from this locked XP 3200 I can and all my SOYO KT600 Dragon Ultra Platinum will do is allow me to raise the FSB to 207 and thats it. :frown: I have 2 512 sticks of Corsair XMS XLL 2 2 2 5 DDR, 9800 Pro AIW, 2 80G SATA HDDs in raid 1, Thermaltake 560w PSU, DVD-RW, CD-RW, Floppy, on BD sound. I've a friend who is using an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe and is able to so far set the multiplier to 12, running his XP 3200 at 2.4GHZ without even trying to raise the FSB so far.

So......Does anyone know of a MBD that can equal w/better options or top this MBD?

I have it's older version which is the EPoX 8RDA+ v1.1

Other good choices for a SocketA board include:
-EPoX 8RDA3+
-EPoX 8RDA+ Pro
-Abit NF7-S2
-Abit NF7-S v2.0
Thanks for that extra bit of info, I'll check them all out. Actually I did check out the EPox 8RdA3+ and it rivals the other bds well so far.

Don't go with ASUS A7N8X, it's inferior in every area compared to the boards I've mentioned above and more expensive in general.
Now that is an interesting observation. I had been seriously considering that MBD(A7N8X-E Deluxe), a lot of people have had great results with it. At least if the reviews are any indication at all.

I'm also trying to figure out what allows these MBDs to adjust the multipliers with these "locked" Bartons and then see if I could some how implement that on my MBD. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks again for your input.

///Your 3200+ can either be locked(which can be unlocked with the above mentioned mobo) or super-locked(manufactured after week 39 '03).
When did you bought that 3200+? Year&month?

July 4th, '04. Ser #500101950732U if that will help. I reckon its a tad past just being locked. So.....if its super-locked, will those 2 M/Bs still allow you to use multipliers?

Thanks for your help.
